How to make audiovisual effects similar to depicted in kickstarter video?

Hey all, I want to wire some of my LED Strips to display audio waves similar to in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usaRpYy3jzU

How did you guys create this? How can I map audio output turned into a visual signal to the allpixel?

I honestly don’t remember what I used there… it was likely created with something like this -> https://github.com/ManiacalLabs/BiblioPixelAnimations/blob/master/BiblioPixelAnimations/matrix/spectrum/system_eq.py

Thanks for the response! I am still new when it comes to python, raspberry pi, and using the bibliopixel libraries, can I simply run this script on my raspberry pi? How do I get it to read audio correctly via pyaudio?

I’ve not had luck with it on a Pi. I used my laptop. It should just work.
